a bottle and glass of cook's mill bourbon

We love local bourbon! To celebrate North Carolina distilleries, we’re hosting a series of two Bourbon & BBQ events at The Willard this fall with two of our favorite local bourbons, Cook’s Mill and Mystic. To learn more about our Mystic Bourbon & BBQ evening, click here.

About Cook’s Mill Whiskey

Cook’s Mill Whiskey owner and NC native, Jason Queen, named Cook’s Mill Whiskey for the pre-Revolutionary grist mill that stood on the property when he purchased it. “From the hills, fields, and mills of North Carolina,” Cook’s Mill whiskey is a straight bourbon whiskey inspired by the proud tradition of farming and distillation in North Carolina. Their bourbons are aged in American White Oak barrels and distilled only from North Carolina corn.
